Since 1944, Mitchell, Wiggins & Company LLP has grown into one of the largest independent CPA and consulting firms in central Virginia, with offices in Richmond and Petersburg and approximately fifty-five personnel. As our clients’ needs have changed and grown, so have our service offerings. We currently service numerous closely-held businesses and prominent not-for-profit and government organizations located in central Virginia and surrounding areas. Other areas of concentration within our firm include financial institutions, automobile dealerships, construction and real estate, healthcare, business valuations, retirement plans and estates/trusts.

Many of our clients have been with us for 50 years or more. We equate diligence with quality, and personal service with excellence, and our enduring relationships are a testament to that philosophy. We have never focused on being the best known firm in Virginia, and yet our clients remain loyal and our relationships strong. The reason is simple:
