In Fond Memory Of David E. Will
It is with sadness and deepest regrets I announce the passing of our beloved colleague and partner David Will.
Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with David have lost a dear friend and respected leader.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Bridgewater College in 1983, David began his public accounting career with Mitchell Wiggins and became a partner in 1994. His practice concentration was in not-for-profit organizations, construction and real estate entities. He previously served as partner-in-charge of the Richmond office and was a member of the Management Committee. David is remembered most for his steady guidance and his commitment to his clients. He had a unique ability to take complex issues and convert them into understandable solutions. His organizational skills and attention to detail were extraordinary. He was not only an excellent accountant, but an inspiring mentor and teacher to many.
David was a previous member of the Board of Directors of United Methodist Family Services. He served as chair of both the finance and audit committees. Throughout his career, he was a member of other boards. Previously, David was an active member of Crestwood Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder and church treasurer. Currently, he was serving as a Deacon and member of various committees at Mount Vernon Baptist Church. He was a regular participant in the Virginia Saints Prison Ministry.
David was an avid golfer and a loyal follower of the Green Bay Packers and the Baltimore Orioles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Mount Vernon Baptist Church or to United Methodist Family Services of Virginia, Inc., 3900 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23230.
